The Big Question...

The question people always ask after watching the trailer is, "When is the movie coming out?"

But really, the question to ask is when is the movie getting made? Revolver as a movie, doesn't exist yet. Right now Revolver is just the trailer, a great screenplay and a gang of extremely talented filmmakers who want to make it all happen.

Given the response the trailer has received, the degree of support and enthusiasm from those we've approached, and the skills and determination of the crew, Revolver will certainly be made. Though there is no exact date yet, everyday we are getting closer and more and more pieces are falling into place.

The Beginning...

Revolver didn't actually start as a screenplay. It was just a handful of fantasies at first, not even ones we meant to tell to anyone.

Veronica Varlow, the co-writer and starlet, had just moved into the saddest, smallest room in Manhattan. Her pane-less bedroom window looked out to the windowless living room. There, the aroma of her roommate's cats wafted gently up from the never-cleaned litter box to saturate any clothing that was hung in the apartment's only closet.

Once, when the stench had reached a truly unbearable level, I actually witnessed Veronica empty the litter box. Unfortunately, the box had been sitting for so long that most of the litter refused to fall willingly into the garbage. Eventually she resorted to scraping while rinsing the box under the faucet. ...She didn't take any of the dishes out of the sink first.

So that is where Revolver began, we were both dead broke, and longed for a chance to get away. We would console each other with stories. I told Veronica of all the fun trips I had taken in the past. In her journal, the dream of a road trip expanded to include a string of bank robberies along the way. After a month or two of her journal slipping further and further into a novella, we bought a clean notepad and decided to commit to the stories we were building.

Both Veronica and the story have come a long way since the kitty litter days, and though I actually miss visiting Stubskull and Barker(the cats), Veronica no no longer lives in that apartment.
